Tips for amateur wedding photographers
Wedding photography is one of the grandest and biggest jobs a photographer can have. One of the biggest hobbies around is photography.Not all people who learn photography do it for money. For those amateur hobby photographers taking wedding photos is exciting. So if you have a friend getting married you can surprise them with some shots that may be better than the hired photographer.So here are tips on how to do it.
These are some tips for an amateur photographer but they are some tips I have gained doing San Diego wedding photographer work.So even if you are already a pro in photography then these tips can still help. Because as I mentioned earlier a wedding shoot could be one of the biggest jobs for a photographer.
The first tip would be to work yourself to be in the moment. What do I mean by that?Well, most of us know what happens in a wedding.There are events that are palnned.But a lot of emotions happen during those events even if they are planned.So you should get ready for those emotions and be ready to take photos of them.Those shots will turn out to be the best among all the photos that you will take. Another thing to take in mind is that in a wedding people will always be moving. So don’t just look for still shots. You will capture some of the best moments by capturing movements.It will be hard to do but it is doable. Of course I had to hone my skills doing San Diego event photography to be able to do this. But once you capture some shots that are more than still shots you will love it. You will be able to outshoot the hired photographer.It would be great to achieve since you are still an amateur.And you can even brag about your shots to your friends.Plus, it can be the start of an extra-income job.
